Chicken Biryani and rice recipe

Ingredients

1kg chicken

500 natural yogurt

2 tubes tomato paste

Four cloves garlic crushes

1tsp ginger crushes

½tsp cumin seeds

One raw pawpaw (optional)

1tsp pilau masala or biryani masala

5tbsp cooking oil

½tsp black pepper whole

Salt

4onions chopped in a circular shape

In a bowl, mix your chicken, salt to taste, natural yogurt,ginger, garlic, and grate in the white part of your pawpaw.

Give a good mix and let it sit in a fridge for 1-2hrs for marination.

In a pan, heat the oil

Put in the onions

Fry the onions till they brown then set aside

Now, take your chicken marinade

Put in a cooking pot and cook it on medium heat until the chicken softens.

Add in your tomato paste and stir till mixture changes color to red-orange.

Now add in your biryani or pilau masala, black pepper, and cumin seeds. increase the heat a bit as you

Stir well for five minutes

 

Now add in the onions you had set aside.

Mix well.

At this step, you can listen to some nice soothing songs, it is not easy to make a good meal, and it comes out perfectly, remember that cooking is an art. You can dance a bit to the tune so long as you do not jump into the pot. A good meal is worth celebrating.

Now take the oil you used to fry your onions.mix with the meat, stir for two minutes, and your food is ready.

For your rice,

Heat oil in a pan.add in two bay leaves, two cinnamon sticks and stir

Now add in your rice and salt.

Mix well.

Add two cups of water and stir.

Lower heat and cover

When the rice is about to dry up, mix ½ tap golden yellow food color and 2tbsp of water

Mix well and pour in the rice in a cross shape

Put off the fire after a minute and let the rice sit for five minutes.

Using a fork, mix the rice in that half is white half is yellow.
