Newspapers are the most common forms of printed media and the oldest form of communication today. The publication of newspapers is based on frequencies; most newspapers capture daily news within a given area or country while others capture weekly or fortnight information. Well, some newspapers are different; they capture news over a relatively long period, like monthly or yearly. On the other hand, some capture multiple news in a day and bring various editions. Newspapers contain different articles that talk about multiple topics. Politics, sports, business, education, and health are among the most common issues in many newspapers. In the past, most newspapers consolidated all the articles on different topics in one piece. However, things have changed. Most newspapers significant in specific issues, Sky sports magazine, for example, majors in the matter of sports with very few news outside its primary purpose. For enjoyment and attraction, newspapers have included other columns such as weather forecasts, cartoons, crosswords, and many more articles that are not considered news. This essay critically analyses the UK newspapers; The daily mail, the morning star and the guardian, and the UAE newspapers; Gulf News, Business 24-7, and Khaleej Times.

This paper echoes the communists‘ voices and the members of society, no wonder the name; ‘Britain’s last communist newspaper.’ As fleshy and attractive political news is, the morning star newspaper does not focus on them. Secondly, both countries have embraced online publications and newspaper websites. Lastly, the newspapers in both countries have adopted English as a language.
However, the fact that most papers in the UK are internationally-minded makes the difference. Most of the UK newspapers are keen to report international news in addition to the local news. Besides, sports seem to be ignored by most newspapers in the UAE while embraced in UK newspapers. Lastly, the UK newspapers’ editors are international; they are not necessarily UK citizens; some of them are blacks. The UAE newspaper editors are majorly Arabs.
