I believe that any organization should take ethical leadership in setting the tone of running the day to day activities to ensure the best code of conduct. It should ensure ethical practices and behavior to direct employees and guide them in making a decision that is not only beneficial to them as an individual but also the organization as a whole. It creates a long-lasting positive effect for the organization which builds and maintains a productive reputation and ability to attract and retain talented individuals. It builds stronger cohesion among investor, customers, and employees which ensure the stability of the company.
The company commitment to ethic significantly influences my purchasing habit. I prefer buying in company with effective, ethical practices. If an organization conduct business in the best way and meet minimum standards for business ethics, I will purchase mine prefer an item from it. Upon noticing unethical practice, I will choose to shy away from them. This because dealing with a business with ethical consideration ensure that the customer has the right product at the right price conveniently. It will ensure fairness on the consumer side which enhances my satisfaction upon purchasing a product or a service. I will not be exposed to any kind of hazardous situation since I will have a genuine product at the right prices.

The monopolistic nature of Microsoft in the world market has brought a bad effect on the small firm in the market. This has aroused stiff competition among the rival companies. In order to protect this, Microsoft Company had to conduct a series of unethical practices. For instance, the companies copied operating system of Apple Company and renamed as a window to the market. Apple Company sued the company, but it won the case due to the use of tricks to escape. As the company continues to face big challenges from many rivals, it continues to utilize the loopholes in the market to enhance unethical practices. The company was forced to take revenge measures to gain the market share. The company took advantage of discursive power to enforce suppliers to limit the regular sales of its rivals-the Netscape Company. This was unethical and illegal practice conducted by Microsoft. Additionally, it fooled the Sun Microsystems into giving the right and license to sell java with the window system.
Also, the company has faced ethical dilemmas in the running in executing its business. The company faces a dilemma when it introduces Window 10 despite have a lot of technical issues among the users. It was hard for the company to abandon it owing to the cost incurred in developing and documenting it. This makes the company face ethical dilemmas since it was not user friendly.
