Of the emerging technologies talked about in the report, which one do you believe has a high potential of taking over people’s jobs? Why do you think so?

There are several emerging technologies which have been mentioned in the report; some of these include robots, algorithms, machine to machine communication, and augmented reality among others. All this technology is aimed at making human life better; as we aim at making it better, some technologies will rank higher than others depending on how the technology is set and its functionality among other factors. The technology which has a high potential to take over the rest is the Robots technology. It is a technology which has been expanding every day, and it has wide use. One of its use in the production line has enabled the production of high-quality products while displacing individuals who used to work in the production line and leave at least a few who can operate the system. Some other the other jobs which have been lost include Bus driver, although it has not completely eradicated drivers, it will take over as we have seen the emerging of monotonous buses. Google Company and Delphi have been on the verge to test driverless cars for years now. An accountant job is also at risk to lose their job on the oncoming robotic era. This will be facilitated by the flocking programs including TurboTax as well as Fresh book which take over the work which would have been done by an accountant. The robotic technology has wide use, and that has a high potential of taking most jobs from people.

Looking at the emerging technologies discussed in the report, which one do you believe has the lowest potential of taking over people’s jobs? What are your reasons?

Looking at the emerging technologies, the technology which will least have the potential of taking away people’s jobs is augmented reality. It has come to create more jobs; it in cooperates 3D technology with graphical displays. Many jobs will be created, and also it will help reduce plastic waste and other types of waste. When this technology is employed in an advertisement, it gives an individual a real aspect of a situation and thus making it easy to orient with a particular product. It can also be used in simulations, where it can be employed in training pilots and other simulated projects or training can be done perfectly imitating the actual environment, making the practical aspect almost a reality.

How have some, or all of these emerging technologies impacted your life? These impacts can be positive, negative or both

Most of the technologies have impacted my life in many ways; I can attest that the positive aspect surpasses the negative impacts. Robotic technology has brought a lot of light on how we interact with things and other people, through smartphone and the internet we can access a lot of useful resources. Life has been made easy with the use of technology; communication has been made more easy with the use of virtual assistants. It has allowed me to be able to keep records get reminders of many tasks which I would at times forget to attend to them effectively. Quality has increased with the use of robots, and this had brought success on how we interact with products as opposed to when most products quality were not estimated to be durable.
