The child that I will focus on is Mari, who comes from Tokyo. She develops physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively through her toddlerhood. Since infancy, Mari is seen grow through the developmental stages. The period runs up to two years old since her birth. Intellectual capabilities, perception, and motor are all developed during this stage.

A child develops socially and emotionally through the experience that she undergoes. She grabs the ability to establish relationships with others around her—the different aspects such as self-regulation, temperament, and reactivity. Mari gets trained on how to react to the environment and other changes taking place around her.

The caregivers have affected the development of the language of the babies. Together with Hattie, Mari does not have to get other caregivers besides their mother because the parents have been around. The attachment that Marie has with her mother is a highly positive one. For instance, she is used to seeing her mother around her, so she is highly attached to the caregiver. Aspects such as competency, sensitivity, and universality are affected by the child’s environment. However, Marie does well in them.

People may interpret this video as training for nursing mothers on how to handle their children from birth to the age of two years. Therefore, it is a guide for the kind of child that the parents want to mold. The determination of the environment in which the child is brought up affects what the child would be. For instance, different stimuli and environments are affected by what the child goes through, such as having toys, customs, and cultures. Therefore, the video is viewed by many people as a guide for parents, giving insights on raising their infants.
