Evaluate the effectiveness of different HRM practices in terms of raising organisational profit and productivity
Effective human resources management is the main driving for the enhancement love the performance of the overall organisation. The growth of the organisation is directly linked with the enhancement of productivity and revenue earned. Furthermore, it is determined that HR practices have a practical impact on the organisation’s growth and enhance the value chain in the market (Schramm, 2012). Effective HR practices include advanced and evaluation of training and development, reward system, flexible working practices, employee retention benefits, and employee retention.
Evaluation of training: Training evaluation is performed in order to obtain information relevant for determining the effects of the training program. It is crucial to ascertain the training program’s results (Neendoor, 2020). Further, it analyses, reflects and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the training program. The organisation incorporates various tools and methods to evaluate the training programs. Mc Donald’s can implement Kirkpatrick’s training evaluation model for evaluating training in their organisation.

The model is segregated in four levels that is reaction, learning, behaviour and result. Based on the above segments of the model, the training program can be an evaluation for future improvement. Reaction depicts the engagement level of the participants in the program and how much they have acknowledged it. Learning helps to understand what new information and changes they have learned throughout the training. Behaviour or attitude of an individual depicts a lot of things where required drivers are identified and implemented. Results showcase the outcome of the training, whether it has successfully been implemented or not. It also helps to identify the shortcomings and future changes that need to be implemented in the organisation.
Reward management: Rewards are an essential part of the HR practices because they further motivate the employees to work harder. Furthermore, it is an adaptation of the hr policies performed within the organisation to enhance the employees’ productive value. However, the reward system is decides upon the individual performance along with the verdicts extracted from the management (Parkinson, 2018). Further, the employees’ eligible for rewards and type of rewards is decided based on various factors such as the fulfilment of target, attitude at the workplace, team management, performance, capability. This procedure is followed to encourage the employees to perform their role with more determination and hard work and enhance the organisation’s productivity and profitability.
Employee Retention: Employees are the backbone of the organisation. If valuable and experienced employees are not retained, then the overall performance of the organisation gets affected. In order to maintain a stable position and value chain in the market, it is mandatory of the organisation to perform some strategies to retain the employees for the organisation’s future growth (Half, 2020). Strategies for employees’ retention, which can be implemented by Mc Donald’s are mentorship programs, compensation, orientation, health and safety offerings, holiday perks, valuable communication and feedbacks. Furthermore, maintaining a friendly work environment and supporting the employees to maintain a balance in their personal and professional lives.
