The under graduate student developed a genius idea transforming the social perception of teaching that was perceived as unattractive and a low status occupation into a high reputational of specialized prospect. Wendy led in eliminating educational disparities by recruiting the state’s most auspicious future leaders. She achieved promoting educational equality through her essential hypothesis that there are substantial numbers of young individuals that have the yearning to take on eloquent accountability with the intent of developing an optimistic bearing on the lives of others.
Her idea made TFA exceedingly selective which eventually reformed the view of teaching in the under privileged regions. Working for TFA received 50000 applications for about 5000 position in the country which indicates the transformation that the idea had made (Chiang et al., 2017). Due to her genius idea, it is now an honour and a great resume builder to be chosen to work with for TFA. TFA makes significant positive impacts on the students. The school heads and principles have testified that these teachers have made positive impacts on the learners as well as the society at large.
Based on the level-5 leadership pyramid, Wendy Kopp is an effective leader as she displayed a mixture of personal humility and indomitable will. She is she is driven towards educational equality and her strategic idea led to the equality success through positive impact. She does this for the cause and not for personal benefit. Her intention was to ensure that the economically disadvantaged children did not lack quality education. As a result she developed an Idea where the young people (graduates) to generally search significance in their lives by creating a positive involvement to the civilization.
Courage it the foremost leadership take away from Wendy Kopp. The courage includes the willingness to take the risk to achieve the goal of creating educational equality. Wendy was purposed to ensure that the economically disadvantaged communities in the United States received quality education. She ensured that they were not disadvantaged in education tool. The courage was her most identifiable outward trait. Integrity is another take away as Wendy brought forth a generous idea which transformed the education system and the involved young people positively contributed to the society. Wendy solved the challenge of persuading trained teachers to take up professions in some innermost capitals and rural ranges which have been an exclusive goal for many years. She managed in creating TFA an exceedingly selective which altered the social insight of schooling in the under privileged zones. Wendy’s focus was her strength and boundless leader focus on strengths in them-selves and in others.
The incorporation of strategic management into the educations system, there is provision of concealed and opportunities for the developers to act proactively to the imminent, technology and the background. Strategic planning can help the placing actual education practices as a key scheme for enhancement and premeditated management which is a hazardous management. Through strategic management the desired future can be demarcated through partnership and collaborations of several networks that are fretful educational associates (Chunoo & Osteen, 2016). Strategic management ensures that there is an appropriate education system is attained over a sequential technical examination and variation with the human resources being the key factor of achieving an equity and quality education system. It compares the desired situation and the existing needs which help in understanding the simple educational needs that are related with the education, the productivity and the interim outcomes. The main advantage is the number of applicants is significantly high which eliminates the deficiency of human resources.
Using the triple bottom line assessment strategy Teach for America is doing significantly well overall. However on the finances, it does not have a solid financial source as it depends highly finances from donor. About 71% of the finances come from private sources while 29% come from the public sources. It is an area that can be improved to enhance financial stability of the programs. The environment perspective the program is doing well as it is focused on ensuring that the youths growing is poverty receive quality education. Through education they expound their knowledge and engage in environmental friendly practices. On the social perspective there are about 850 colleges with a significant number of young individuals with the yearning to take an eloquent responsibility.
