Part 1

Males have 46 chromosomes, which includes one Y chromosome and one X chromosome. However, some males have 47 chromosomes, which includes two Y chromosomes. Hence, they have the XYY chromosome, which is a chromosomal disorder. This disorder is caused by an error in cell division in the sperm before conception. Also, this disorder occurs only in males, and it is often misdiagnosed or undiagnosed. This disorder’s signs and symptoms include severe cystic acne in the adolescent stage, increased height after the age of six, delays in certain stages of development, such as speech and learning delays. In some cases, the affected males may have behavioral issues such as hyperactivity, antisocial behavior, explosive temper, defiant actions, or impulsivity. They also record a higher number of individuals affected with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (Kaufman et al., 2016).

Part 2

Even if Jodie Arias had no incidents of past violence, her relationship with Alexander was quite unhealthy. In the video, Jodie loved and was obsessed with Alexander to the point that she started stalking him when they broke up. She also got so jealous when Alexander started seeing other women, and since they were no longer together, her aggressive actions of slashing Alex’s tires was uncalled for. Hence, she wanted only her to possess Alexander, which turned to murder so that no one could have him. Also, Jodie is considered a sociopath because she was a manipulator, liar, aggressive, and lacked guilt or remorse and impulsiveness. All these signs were observed in the courtroom and from other witnesses who ever encountered Jodie. Hence, one does not have to experience past violence to enable them to commit murder since individuals experience different mental disorders due to different situations and life stages.
