I appreciate your effort in sharing your ideas in the post. Indeed technological advancements come with tremendous benefits and costs. However, you shared more of your worries concerning technology than the reasons you think computer technology will be significant to your major. You focussed much on the adverse impacts computer technology has had on children, how it has rendered the elderly redundant, how it will get more challenging on you as it advances, and the likelihood of it ripping off the world. Although a considerable part of your concern is genuine, I feel you needed to supply more details on how computer technology will specifically help you in your major. Remember, computer technology is a vast field, and no matter how computer literate you are or want to become, as age advances, there are technological advancements that will surpass you. Eventually, you will find yourself with those billions of questions. It is not a matter of if but when.

  1. Hi

I agree with several issues that you pointed out in the post. Indeed, the world has become a global village because of computer technology. Computer technology has changed how we work and share information. People are increasingly now working from home. However, you shared specific points that need to be rethought and viewed as concerns or benefits. I think you should be concerned that the building that cost your management to build or hire has been turned into a ghost town by advancing computer technology. You should ask the question: if everyone works remotely, do we need to build offices in the future? I expect creativity while explaining your response to this open question. Notably, do not be worried about everyone becoming computer literate and you being rendered jobless. It will happen if you cease becoming creative in this vast field of technology. Remember, computer technology is extensive; no one can be good at every aspect of it. With determination and creativity, you will always have your place.
