Describe the trial process.
The trial process or the clinical process has five phases. The first phase, which is called phase 0, includes studying how the body will process the drug and its effect on the body. The second trial is called the phase 1, where they start administering the drug in a lower dose and see if there are any side effects on it. After this followed the phase 2, where the drug is tested on the larger scale of participants, especially the cancer patients, still aiming the effectivity and the safety of the drug. Phase 3 involves comparing a drug to the standard drug of care and breakdown, which type of drugs has fewer side effects and safer. The last phase is phase 4, wherein the FDA tests the drug to be approved. It is usually being tested on thousands of people to further figure out its efficacy and safety.

Healthcare organizations’ corporate teams are mandated with such tasks to ensure the hospitals follow the right path to meet their goals and quality care options for patients to be fully implemented. The decisions may include quality care options for patients to be fully implemented and how hospitals may develop different choices of payments by the patients.
Common medical errors
Recent studies suggest that medical errors have caused death to lots of Americans. Medical errors may occur as a result of patient assessment. This happens due to poor communication structure between doctors and patients. Diagnostic errors are the diagnosis that is delayed or missed. It occurs when a treatment is made from a disease that is not known or treatment made to at a later stage when the disease is more severe. Adverse Drugs Events (ADEs) are results of post-discharge medical errors. This entails patients failing to understand the appropriate dosage required to take per day, and this may cause harm at a later stage. Patients usually require proper care, especially after an operation or any treatment. This may include nursing a wound at home. The omission of such follow up care causes a greater risk to such patients.
