Children’s literature discusses and explores matters and issues that concern children transitions during the early stages of growth. Children’s literature provides a medium in which children can discuss topics concerning the human race (Abbas et al., 2020).  Children get an opportunity to explore the multicultural set of a society fully, and children can be fully equipped with the knowledge and about cultural and racial bias in society. In this way, they complete understanding and the positive attitude about all human beings. Children’s literature shapes children’s by clearly showing the impact of racism in society (Carwll et al. 2020).

Sexual orientation is another matter of concern in children’s literature by enlightening children on emotional, romantic, and sexual attraction. The discussion of sexual orientation may touch different concerns about homosexuality and heterosexuality and, at large, all matters concerning the sexual way of life. The current change and trend of technology has greatly influenced children’s behavior and, more so, negatively. Due to digital error and awareness, it has affected children so much and especially in sexual behavior and other immoral misconducts. Therefore, their control needs to be handled with a lot of care and moderation to not threaten or discourage them in their life motivation.

Further, children’s literature thoroughly discusses the components of sexual identity like the biological sex, gender identity, and social sex roles in society and, in this way, enhances and promotes the children’s social lives. Again, children, literature handles gender stereotyping by enlightening all genders about what is best for them. Gender stereotyping literature among children is more like to benefits one gender more than the other sometimes. For instance, this can be viewed from the facts that children are more likely to encounter books written by males gender in sciences careers, and this may benefit the male gender than the females as results that boys feel than they were made to being scientists by nature (Abbas et al. .2020).

 

 

Fictional stories made for children literature are more likely to promote and support vocabulary development in the context, which is made possible because children are more likely to encounter more new words. The words are more likely to make them have a broad vocabulary that they can fully utilize to enhance their conversations with their peers (Abbas et al., .2020).

 

 

 

Children’s literature should not ever be censored not be censored since censorship which contributes to more harm to the children. Banning children’s literature will automatically lead to blocking off the whole world of thought. Thus if children’s literature is excluded, the youngsters are more likely to experience more harm than benefits (Carwll et al. 2020).

 

 

If censorship is to be done, it should be aimed to touch topics that appear offensive in language, sexual content, and exposure to the wrong age children. Children’s literature should be majored to be exposed to the right people and the right time (Carwll et al., 2020).

 

 

Children’s literature is critical because it provides children with a chance to respond to literature, appreciate their culture and the others, and promote emotional intelligence and creativity (Carwll et al. 2020).

 

Various cultures should be included in the canon of children’s literature because they expose children to different cultures, which helps to increase children’s awareness of diverse cultures and beliefs (Asiain et al. 2020).

 

 

Including literature from various cultures influences social issues by exposing children to diverse cultures and beliefs, making children have broad knowledge about culture (Hatari et al., .2020).
