Family Theory and Services Intervention

Sample Treatment Plan for Jamie

Goal 1: Jamie would implement a proper medication plan, social plan, and academic plan to ensure she has a stable health condition and not lose in her academics.

Goal 2: To create medical training for awareness creation to reduce stigmatization and bullying of Jamie’s family members in the community and in school.

Objectives

  1. Jamie will interact with the family to avoid depression and stigmatization
  2. Jamie will keenly follow her doctor’s prescription for her health stability
  3. Jamie will continue to attend her online classes to avoid losing in her academics.
  4. Jamie will partner with other medical care staff during awareness creation in schools and communities, primarily online.

Interventions

  1. A physician will ensure proper guidelines to Jamie and her family on interacting with Jamie for their safety and well-being.
  2. A physician will properly label the drugs and clearly state the prescription to prevent any confusion.
  3. A physician will closely monitor with Jamie’s health condition and medication to ensure she takes medicine correctly.
  4. A physician will partner with others and create awareness about COVID-19 in Jamie’s school and the community to avoid discrimination and stigmatization of her younger sister.

Methods of Assessing Progress

The physician will Retest Jamie’s COVID-19 status after three months to find out whether she is positive or negative in line with the medical advisers (Kaitie, 2020). Additionally, a visit to the school to assess the students, teachers, and the community’s behavior towards the COVID-19 victims (after the training) is essential. Creating a safe, caring, bullying-free, and stigma-free environment in schools and the community is a sign of good progress.

I believe the goals, objectives, and interventions in Jamie’s case will create awareness about COVID-19 disease and reduce stigma, discrimination, and bullying (World Health Organization, 2020). Reduced stigma will improve Jamie’s health condition; hence there will be a safe environment for her and the community.
