Photography

`           Photography is one of the innovations that have revolutionized memory-keeping and exhibition of art. The industry has taken strides in leaping from the pale shadow it was ages ago to become a multibillion global franchise today. However, through evolution, photography was met with maximal resistance due to the likelihood of eradicating the painting industry’s clientele niche. Consequently, various painters and established painting organizations were opposed to photography’s art, making it a stumbling block in the progression. In light of this, this paper seeks to discuss various transformations in the invention of photography, pioneers in the movement, and a cross description image concerning a pioneer of choice.

Discussion

The cold reception towards photography on the invention and improvement of the camera did not deter other artists from transforming into photography. The new and fresh concept photography brought to the consumer was seemingly unavoidable. Moreover, some of the artists who stepped into photography felt disenfranchised in the art world through the industry’s bigwigs’ stumbling blocks. Furthermore, the idea of new concepts that captured realism gripped the customer base making it too attractive to let go. For instance, Elliot Erwitt, a pioneer photographer, captivated various photography enthusiasts with his candid and crisp black and white photographs that led to the industry’s transformation

In specific, Elliot Erwitt focused more on capturing dogs and even produced multiple catalogs regarding the same topic. However, the unique angling of his pieces made his capture very intriguing and attractive to various enthusiasts. Specifically, he focused more on capturing single targets within his photographs, which was a pretty new concept. Moreover, his photography style that involved black and white pieces made the image captivating due to the depth that the photographs contained, especially in depicting relations that canines had with humans. By minimizing color to only two spectrums, Elliot captured pictures that made his enthusiasts glued.

The Revolutionalization of the photography world was not without widespread criticism. Concerning a new and unique form of art. There was a notion that it took the intervention of Inge Mohart to make an emotional and sexuality depiction in the works of Elliot Erwitt (Bair, “The Decisive Network”). However, these unfounded claims were rubbished by an earlier piece by Elliot Erwitt that outlines his bare apartment and with his wife and infant daughter. Through this description, most of the critics’ sentiments were bluffed as being mere acts of envy. In my perception, the ability to capture realism is why photography stands out instead of other art, as it can simply not be arm-twisted to portray any different theme.

In the image captured, I purposed to grasp the concept of canine relation with humans. The utilization of a two spectrum color purposed to outline the bilateral relations between dogs and man. From the depiction of the canine groping for a human hand, I addressed the concept in totality while focusing majorly on the man’s friend’s beauty. The picture indeed contained depth in that I captured the emotions involved in the symbiotic relations between the two acquaintances through the photograph.

Elliot Erwitt is credited for capturing relations between man and canine with emphasis on the animals’ beauty. For instance, in his depiction, Elliot Erwitt’s dogs premiered in 2008. There is a deep sensationalization of the canines and their role in the pioneer’s life (White-Jackson, “The splendor of the insignificant”). Through this imaging, I was able to transcend the concept in my artwork that focused more on my love for canines due to their protective and friendly nature. Majorly it is the exceptional concept that captured my interest and purposed me to practice a synonymous fete.

The contemporary American society has idolized the involvement of canines in family setups. This depiction has been carried out by the media, which has magnified the role dogs play in everyday lives (Herzog, “How” Pet-tie” Are Dogs?”). From the depiction in the media that dogs act as companions in cases of loneliness or lack of a formidable partner, I could practice the same persona and create a depiction that carries the concept. Moreover, through the engagement as an individual with the canine, which has been around for quite some time, I thought it is a chance to portray my regular life as an art piece.

Conclusion

Photography is one of the best methodologies to express art in a realism concept. Although not all artistic enthusiasts conformed to the idea of its inception, many artists were able to migrate to this concept and have since delivered a ton of carefully crafted photographs. In the excerpt above, the role of Elliot Erwitt in photography is immensely contributing to the depiction of black and white images, which lay the basis of my piece. In conclusion, we lay the foundation for the upcoming ideas and depictions in photography through these pioneer artists.
