Summary
Emily Bazelon, a staff writer for the New York Times and “Sticks and Stones: A Culture of Defending and Rediscovering a Threat” and the power of character and empathy, shared her thoughts on the president’s influence on personality about bullying in high school and college. They hope that the threat will increase if Trump proudly promotes his racist thinking, racist policies, and tendency to ridicule people with disabilities. Children of the race, gay, and disabled are more likely to be bullied (Bazelon, 2016). Women are also regularly harassed, and there is ample evidence to support the claim that Trump participates in sexual harassment. Babylon has already listed many examples of hate crime and exploitation. Bazelon concludes the article by saying that a leader exemplifies these traits, verifies and promotes behavior in the developmental stages, and destroys all US measures to prevent threats.
Analysis
Bazelon relied heavily on the power of composition to push its agenda forward. Although it is clear that they are in stark contrast to Trump’s actions through negative vocal terms such as “racism,” “xenophobic,” and “lying,” they express it through hopeful words such as “sympathy,” so the tone of his essay is one of respect and hope (Bazelon, 2016). Bazelon lists several actual cases of racist threats legalized by Trump, a testament to the rise in reports of threats after the election. These facts enhance his morality, for the respect of such influential studies attracts him. “Will this lead to an increase in crime?” To help keep track of her story. The article concludes with more persuasive topics, including loneliness, bullying, prevention, and a request to understand child trends (Bazelon, 2016). Compared to what Trump did with his level of discrimination after 9/11, President Obama has done everything he can to combat the indiscriminate epidemic. These Jurassic ads not only help demolish the house but also help identify and repair it. They will leave us hoping that Trump will change, but if he does not, the world will have to rely on a future of kindness and peace.
