The Board appointed Terry Shaw as the new president and chief executive officer due to his extensive experience at Advent Health and other institutions. He has been working at AdventHealth for more than thirty years. Before his appointment, he was the principal operations administrator, an executive assistant president, and principal financial executive. His broad understanding and familiarity with healthcare finance, technology, and general operations enabled him to play a key role in defining Adventheath’s vision and direction. Shaw’s career started in 1982 when he became an intern at Advent Health. He became the director of Florida hospital three years later and assistant president in 1990. He also worked as a senior deputy president in 1996 and the senior president principal financial officer in 2000 at advent health. His experience serving as the Chief operating officer and his extensive knowledge in financial matters, operational issues, and clinical enhancement issues are advantageous to health organizations’ advent. Usually, the CEO at Advent health does not have a specific term. For instance, the former Advent Health CEO officially retired after serving for more than a decade. The Board of directors is also in charge of appointing senior executives.

Firstly, Advent Health College of Health Sciences is a department of Advent Health that is fully certified and dedicated to reflecting God’s image through treatment and learning. This institution specializes in health education in faith established atmosphere. The women department in this organization was also acknowledged by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), especially in 2018 for attaining the Healthy People 2020, Maternal and Child Health objectives concentrated on minimizing cesarean section births for first-time mothers with minimal-risk pregnancies.
Given a chance, I would solve maintaining warehouse space at Advent Health during the COVID 19 pandemic period. This organization believed that the COVID 19 spike would arrive late. Since there was a high demand for protective equipment that was difficult to find, the company procured more masks and PPEs from various sources. For this reason, the orders that came into the company outspaced the storage area of the company. Solving this challenge would ensure that the hospital has ana alternative storage space. This problem would be solved by partnering with centers that can help provide storage spaces. This solution will be vital for the hospital, which is struggling to expand space and staffing to meet the community’s needs. There is also the issue of canceling elective surgeries, which has affected the revenues of the hospital. There is, therefore, the need to look for sponsorship and ensure that the pandemic does not affect the revenue due to the cancellation of elective surgeries.
Conclusion
