Africa is blessed with bauxite, uranium and gold
Question 2
Although Africa is blessed with bauxite, uranium and gold, their residents have been categorized as the poorest in the world. Few sub-Saharan African nations are known to do well economically, but the rest is inadequate. One of the main reasons for poverty is because African leaders lack experience and knowledge to take their inhabitants out of poverty. African leaders are always linked to dysfunctional democratic institutions, corruption, and greed. The result of bad leadership is prolonged poverty. The African countries suffer from overpopulation, and this could be a significant reason why their economies cannot sustain the population growth. Terrorism and warzones also interfere with economic growth of African countries. Often, they receive massive terror attacks which take their economies two miles behind. However, exploitation from developed countries is another important reason why Africa is underdeveloped.
Question 4
Population decline is a reduction in the human population, which is caused by various long term demographic events, while population growth is an increase in the number of human population. Population growth in Europe is at a decline due to low birth rates. Fertility rates in Europe are at a rate of 1.5 kids per woman instead of 2.1, which is required for a population increase. However, Europe is also facing a big wave of immigration. The combination of decreased birth rates and increased migration to other countries, lead to a reduced population.
