Argumentative essay

The video explains the nature of an argumentative essay that encompasses the introductory section, the main body, and the conclusion part. The body is the main part of the essay, which contains the thesis. The main argument is brought in and discussed in broad and wide perspectives. Here, one has to be so particular and persuasive enough to convince the skeptical audience about the point.  A total of three argumentative points can be introduced in the body.  For the main argument to make sense, an objection is brought in, bringing distinction to the main argument. The objection should be strong enough and be refuted in the right and transparent manner to convince the audience. Then to make the argument sensible, a reply is offered concerning the objection highlighted. This can be brought in a rhetoric question or a statement. In the response section, one has to have a firm stand, its either you have a strong reply or give up on the argument as a false argument. Apart from the body’s content, the writing should be organized in a logical structure that leads the readers through it. This is done by having the main argument that laying premises and deal with objections immediately, then conclude.

What I have learned about an argumentative essay is the need to have at least three arguments, one being main and the rest supportive. Also, I learned about the logical organization of points in paragraphs. I would like to know how to identify the main argument from the others, considering they are more than one in the body.
