Aspects of Global Warming
Global warming is the rise in temperature of the Earth above the average due to human activities. It has been confirmed by impacts of global warming and direct measurement of temperature. Global warming has effects on other aspects of the globe, such as the amount of water in the atmosphere. Usually, there are particular periods in social calendar where temperatures on Earthrise without human provocation.
The high temperatures result in the release of gases known as greenhouse gases on the Earth’s atmosphere. The most common GHGs include; Carbon dioxide produced any time from burnt substances—methane gas, which is produced in many combustion processes also by anaerobic decomposition. Nitrous oxide used to make fertilisers, Fluorinated gases were created as replacements for ozone-depleting refrigerants, and sulphur hexafluoride used for specialized medical procedures. These gases, once released in the atmosphere, form a coat that traps heat from the sun, thus, causing high temperatures on the surface of the Earth.
Extreme weather conditions
Extreme temperatures inside the Earth cause worsening of heatwaves, storms, and drought. The warm climate enables the atmosphere to collect, retain, and release more precipitation causing a change in weather patterns making the dry areas more dry and wet arrears wetter.
High death rates
Currently, scientists term climate change as the greatest threat to the health of both flora and fauna species on the Earth. Lives of children, elderly, minorities, and low-income communities are affected directly or indirectly. As temperatures rise, illnesses such as fever tend to increase, leading to deaths.
Contaminated air
Air pollution is made worse by rising temperatures due to the increase in the o ozone layer. The ozone layer created by emission of these gases from factories, motor vehicles, and other substances that react to sunlight and heat. Smog is composed of ground-level ozone and increases as this layer thickens. The majority of hospital admissions for asthma patients die due to dirty air-linked complications. It deteriorates the well-being of individuals suffering from cardiac or respiratory illnesses. Extreme temperatures considerably increase airborne pollen, causing complications to individuals living with hay fever and other allergies.
Rising Extinction of wildlife
As human beings, we face a multitude of encounters, but we’re not the only ones catching heat. As terrestrial and aquatic go through rapid changes, the faunas that inhabit them destined to vanish if they don’t familiarize fast enough. Some will make it, and some won’t. More acidic oceans will prevail, further threatening the aquatic life.
Higher sea levels
The Arctic Areas are mainly helpless to a warming atmosphere. Average temperatures in the Arctic are rising twice as fast as they are elsewhere on Earth, and the ecosphere’s ice sheets are melting swiftly.
Addressing global warming is a call for all countries. Policies and measures to corporations, manufacturers, and individuals should be enhanced to save the planet.
