Being a Person

People have different ways of defining the fact of being a person. The method of understanding, however, changes between people, and the correctness of each way of understanding cannot be known with certainty. The field of ethics allows psychologists to employ the method of knowledge that can be supported with sufficient evidence. The biological way of thinking offers a more accurate process of understanding a person. Generally, the study of the impact of nature gives the biological way an upper hand in defining a person.

The biological way of thinking involves studying the physical form of a being. After the composition is mastered with certainty, the impact of the environment is assessed (Freberg, 2018). Then, the reaction of the organism towards nature is checked before a conclusion is made. Advocates for the biological way believe that nature is responsible for the shaping of behaviors. Generally, the biological way opposes the arguments of psychologists that behaviors occur from group dynamics and other factors not associated with the physical composition of the individual.

The main reason for choosing the biological way is that concrete evidence is available for making an argument on behavior. Furthermore, the biological way may form a basis of the psychological way where biological factors lead to psychological issues. Therefore, the biological way gives more details and should always be prioritized.

In sum, the study of the impact of nature gives the biological way an upper hand in defining a person. The biological way opposes the arguments of psychologists that behaviors occur from group dynamics and other factors not associated with the physical composition of the individual. Generally, the biological way gives more details and should always be prioritized.
