Binance Exchange was unavailable for the users for around 30 minutes which created quite an uproar in the crypto markets as the traders were not able to access their accounts. The services were not available to the users, due to which there was a lot of inconveninece and the users took to Twitter to start reporting the matter. The company cited technical difficulties in the system due to which the accounts were not accessible and the exchange was temporrary out of service.
Binance Exchange Unavailable Due to Gateway Issues
Performances of the crytocurrency exchange has debilitated at few occiassions in the past too when a lot of activity in the bitcoin as price movement is rife.
Bitcoin has seen a surge of 2.5 percent as it reaches a massive high of 12000 USD.
The Binance exchange often shows inconsitencies and fails to perform efficiently when there is a hikein Bitcoin volume. Earlier also performace issues were reported when humungius amounts of bitcoin transcations took place. Last month as well the crypto investors took to twotter to highlight the issue when the exchange failed. A lot of users experienced difficulties in accessing the echcnage via web browser or the mobile app.
While the outage was reported for half hour only howver in the dynamic world of crypto trading every minute counts. The trading community was slighly panic striken anticipating something major and inability to access their accounts made them worried.
The CEO Took Stock of Situation
The CEO of the exchanfe Changpeng Zhao took the stock of the situation himself and notified the Binance community that the issue was due to some gateway errors. He also noted that the outage of the crypto exchange was only in some regions and for a short duration of time as the team was trying to fix the technical fault. The CEO was quick and affirmative in handling the situation, calming the users that there is no danger to their funds and crypto assets. The crypto exchanges and diogital assets are susceptible to online frauds and hacks due to which any small failure can concern the users.
However the company came forward to respond to the issue, saying that they are aware of the problems in accessing Binance Exchange and they are fixing it. To most users this may be like a recap of the similar incidents that have occurred earlier as well. Binance has often seen downtime and outage when there are Bitcoin price movements. The outage was for a span of half hour only howver the users tweeted about the situation aggressively.
