Bundy was born in Burlington
Bundy was born in Burlington, Vermont, on November 24, 1946, at the home of unwed mothers. He remained there for two months after his birth. His mother, Eleanor Louise, considered placing Bundy for adoption, but Bundy’s grandfather wanted the child to join the family in Philadelphia. At that time, Bundy was called Theodore and grew up knowing that his mother was sister, later he discovered the truth when he saw his birth certificate in the year 1969. He described his mother as timid and obedient, who faced a lot of treatment for depression. Bundy lived at his maternal grandparent for three years of first life. In his early life, he exhibited disturbing behaviour. Julia, his sister, recalls awakening from sleep and finds herself surrounded by knives from kitchen and Bundy was at bed his laughing. He liked to peer through people’s windows.
Education
After his high school in 1965, Bundy went to the University of Puget Sound (UPS) and transferred to the University of Washington for the award in degree in psychology and graduated in 1972. As a student, he made love with a young wealth woman from California. Bundy was provided with everything he wanted: Money, influence and class. Later Bundy and this lover broke up. He was devastated by the break-up. By the mid-1970s, he transformed and more outward confident and active inn socialist and politician and got a good recommendation letter from the republic governor of Washington.
Victims
In his life, Bundy confessed to having 36 killed women across several states by 1970s, but researchers believed that his final tally was closer to hundreds. The exert number of women killed Bundy was not known. His killing followed a shocking pattern, before beating his victims to death, he raped them. It is debated that his killing became rampage in 1974. At this time, a lot of women’s at nearby Oregon went missing. He tricked his victims into entering his car, pretending to be injured and inquiring for help.
Bundy’s Arrest
At the end of 1974, Bundy travelled to Utah to study law. Women started disappearing at this place, as well. A year later, Bundy was arrested by the police. After scrutinizing his car, the police he found he had possessed a cache of burglary tools which included: a face mask, rope and handcuffs. The police began to link him with the menacing crime. In 1975, Ted was caught in the abduction of DaRonch, one of the victims who had escaped before. Ted was found guilty and sentenced to fifteen years in jail.
Prison escape
By 1977, Ted had escaped from prison twice. His first attempt, he was linked with the murder charges of Colorado woman where he acted as a lawyer in his case. On his way to the courthouse, he jumped through the window, making his first escape. However, he was caught eight days later. At the end of the year, 1977, Bundy escaped from custody again through a hole he made in his cell room. After his second escape, he moved to Tallahassee, Florida. On January 1978, he forcedly entered in the chi Omega sorority house, where he attacked four young females who lived there and killed two of them. After this murder, he also killed a twelve years old leach on 9th February. Bundy was the arrest, and these marked the end of his crime.
Trial and death
Bundy’s intelligence and good look gave him a celebrity in his trials. He fought for his life but was imprisoned and spent nine years of his life imprisonment and appealed for his death sentence. Bundy dies after his execution. He was wheeled out on a Rainford chair at 0716 hours 24 January 1986. The crowd cheered and set off a fire. His body was cremated in Gainesville. Before he died, he requested his ashes to be scattered in the cascade mountains of Washington State. In the description, was a psychologist degree order, who loved knives from the age of three, he admitted has killed thirty-six women. However, his close peers who knew him well said he had killed hundreds of women. His last words were,” I don’t feel guilty for anything. I feel sorry for people who feel guilty”.
