The Health Network business impact analysis shall be a process which recognizes as well as evaluates the possible effects relating to natural as well as human-made events on the operation of the health

Scope

In-Scope: The business impact analysis of Information technology (IT) services, which are supported by Health Network, Inc. IT, Clinical systems as well as non-information technology managed applications or services which have been hosted in the various datacenters

Out of scope: The business impact analysis of the departments provided by the different regions as well as the medical center emergency management or information technology services supported by internal Information technology department units

Roles and Responsibilities

BIA Requester

An Information technology manager holds the business impact analysis requestor. In the business impact analysis process, the business impact analysis requester has the following responsibilities

Technical Application or server manager

The technical application or service manager is charged with the responsibility for every aspect, which is linked to the service like system upgrades, attack recovery mechanisms, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and so on (Wang, Yang, and Su, 2012 ). The manager is responsible for the provision of all the technical information which is linked to application or service.

Subject Matter Experts and contributors

Subject Matter specialists, as well as Contributors, are responsible for the provision of Any additional effect information from a Business Owner or Technical Application/Service Manager perspective.

Information Technology service consultancy manager

The information technology continuity leader is responsible for the management of the information technology service continuity process. In the business impact analysis process, the information technology service continuity manager is charged with the responsibility of:
