Case Manager Job Position
My Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and work experience makes me confident about my qualifications for that position. Having previously worked in the community and interacted with citizens, I believe that I am ready to advance to the next level, where I can deal with clients and officers in places like correctional facilities. Working as a resident supervisor also boosts my qualifications for this job because I can effectively complete and keep a record of clients’ progress and recommendations. I also have well-developed analytical skills that help me to determine the problems and challenges that the clients sent to me are facing, so that I can direct them to the proper services.
I am confident that I also have the knowledge required to be an efficient case manager. Such knowledge is the ability to assess the needs of the clients that I receive. As a case manager, I will also develop a service plan for them and link them to the right services where they can get help. After they have referred them to the best service, I should know how to make follow-ups concerning the clients’ progress the services that they receive. I will also be required to advocate for the clients if need be.
From the case manager position, I expect to be better at communication and public relations. As a case manager, my job will require communicating with clients, acquaintances and their family members so that I can understand the needs of my clients. By offering them excellent communication, references, advice and rules, I will be better at all my public interactions. The case manager position will also advance my career and experience in the criminal justice ladder.
