Introduction

Many beliefs and misconceptions about immunization are alarming, increasing rates of disease infections and mortality rate. (Adongo, 2020) affirmed that travel vaccines are equally crucial as it prevents infection from deadly illnesses since traveling to an exotic destination exposes one to at high risk of a myriad of diseases that the ready to fight. Albert is 36 years and has beliefs and issues about travel immunization. This paper will discuss Albert’s opinions about immunization, learning needed in each domain, and theories to consider. It will also address family concerns.

I would help Robert understand that he is traveling to an exotic destination where he has been before and thus at high risk of contracting a deadly disease since his body is not ready to gift the disorders. He also needs to understand that time of stay does not matter, and thus, no matter how long he stays in the new destination, there are equal chances of contracting diseases (Flaherty, 2017). I would educate him about the side effects of the immunization and the effects of the illness itself. This will help him weigh the impacts of both and consider immunization since the side effects are minimal and incomparable to that of the disease. He needs to appreciate that vaccination is a preventive measure against deadly diseases and could save his life.

Cognitive learning would be needed in the immunization issue domain. This learning will help Albert acquire the right knowledge about immunization, its side effects and evaluate it effectively. He will also be able to comprehend, analysis and apply the information received. In the issue of leaving his Family, the Affective domain of learning is the best. This is because he would handle the attachment of him and his wife and the unborn child (Flaherty¸2019). This will help him ensure the emotions and feelings of love towards them do not impair his judgment and reasoning.

I would consider cognitive learning theory. This would help Albert have a better understanding of immunization and its importance and help him deal with his pregnant wife’s emotional attachment. He will understand how immunization is connected to disease prevention and thus justify his thinking and wrong notion concerning vaccines (Adongo¸2021). I would also consider multiple intelligence theory that will help change Alberts Assumptions developed based on false formation. This will change his attitude towards immunization. Behaviorism theory will also help in the situation by ensuing positive reinforcement towards vaccination.

Albert’s Family should have healthcare cover insurance and emergency contact near them in case of anything when he is not around. He should also ensure he keeps constant communication to maintain the attachment and bond between them. They should also have insurance cover of other things and a compensation agreement if a problem arises (Flaherty, 2017). This will help him go to work without having to worry about their safety and needs. His wife is safe and protected.

Conclusion

To sum up, many beliefs and misconceptions about immunization are alarming, increasing rates of disease infections and mortality rate. Time of stay does not matter, and thus risks of contracting a disease are equal. Travel immunization is essential and lifesaving, and therefore individuals should be educated to help make the right decision (Adongo, 2021). Cognitive, multiple intelligence, Behaviorism, and social theory are the best learning theories considered in this situation.
