American soul and R&B vocalist Dennis Edwards Jr. was the frontman of The Temptations for Motown Records. Edwards joined the Temptations after David Ruffin left in 1968, and he worked with them from 1968 to 1976, 1980 to 1984, and 1987 to 1989. In the mid-1980s, he established a solo career and collaborated with Siedah Garrett on the hit song “Don’t Look Any Further” in 1984.
