Healthcare programs Discussion Question 1 Healthcare programs, such as Medicaid and Medicare, have been impacted by several evolutions in the healthcare sector. Americans have, in recent years, become sensitive to the need to protect their health. Therefore, Americans have developed an interest in purchasing healthcare cover programs. Eventually, Medicaid and Medicare programs have attracted interest from several Americans, thus leading to their immediate growth (Allen, Swanson, Wang & Gross, 2017). For example, the number of Americans who have acquired the Medicaid and Medicare cover has significantly grown over recent years. Currently, more than a third of Americans are covered under the Medicaid and Medicare programs. The requirement by the federal governments has been the main evolution in the healthcare sector.
