Farther, thank you for giving us this wonderful day; as we gather here together, we praise your name for this day and your purpose for it. Dear Almighty God, reset our plan as we sit in your presence. Ooh, Lord, you assured us that you are there where more than two people are when praising your name. Bless us, Lord, and the many gifts that we have received from your bounty. Lord, we thank you for this food and drink to share as workers’ father. Bless the hand that has given dear Lord. Bless the hand that has prepared it, dear Lord, as you blessed the writing of Abe (Genesis 1:29-30). Bless every hand that has led to its contribution, and thus we have gathered here to take it. Thank you, father, for the food, not because we sweated for this, but for your mercy.
Dear Lord, may you also bless and provide those who have not found anything to put in the mouth. Father, we again thank you for giving each food so many textures, aroma, and taste. Dear Lord, as you stated, we should eat our bread in happiness and drink our wine with a cheerful heart for you have approved our works; we also want to enjoy the dish before us with joy because you have proven our hand’s works. Dear Lord, we also practice what your messenger did, for example, Esau came in from the field, and he was famished when he found his brother had cooked a stew. I am also pleased with your father to let us swallow what is before us ( Genesis 25:29-34). Protect and guide every hand, body, and soul who salivates for this food. Dear Lord, I humbly request you to bless this food as we want to take it for all that came from you. Amen.
