Clusters of sequences
The clusters of sequences are formed based on minimum branch length deviation (cut off 0.0005). As example, sequences MT159709.1 (2/20/2020), MT325592.1 (3/5/2020) are related from Feb and March months, and they shared a more recent common ancestor with each other than either shared with MT159708.1 (2/17/2020) or Feb (February) 6 sequences cluster. Moreover, the 22 sequences of March cluster (3/13/2020 – 3/28/2020) were more closely related to 3 sequences of March cluster (3/14/2020 – 3/28/2020) rather than MT259249.1 (3/13/2020). The tree elucidates that genome of more close sequences having a low evolutionary rate of the virus rather than the genome of distal sequences. Although all the lineages shared the same ancestry, these are not equally related to the reference sequence. The diagram is also showing that all sequences of March were more distant from the sequence of Wuhan except MT325592.1 (3/5/2020).
