College admission essay
On the surface, I can proudly say that I like being young and modern. I always take life and school issues seriously because I have set goals and real dreams for my future. I am determined to make unimaginable things happen in life, and I do not wait for people to help me accomplish what seems hard to me. I always try my best to achieve it. I am a unique person, and I often find myself standing out among the crowd.
I come from a simple background where I live with my dad, mom, and sister. However, my dad occasionally goes to attend work issues, but he comes over every weekend to see us. Sometimes, when I reflect on my family, I realize that I am a fortunate person to have very supportive parents. They like to see me doing well health-wise, physically, and academically. My parents often say that I am an exceptional child because of how I handle life and the assistance I offer to them during the holidays. Sometimes I seek jobs to keep myself busy and help them raise some income. I am friendly and obedient, and I never intentionally disappoint them.
I have always performed well in school. I keep my grades high all the time, and I am very proud of this. Although sometimes I do not excel in all subjects, I have learned to put that extra effort needed to achieve what I need. Sometimes when tasks seem unachievable, I find time to relax and visualize the entire picture, then break it down. Finally, I realize the job was manageable. From that, I plan how I will excel in it next time.
I am very eager and excited to take my education at a higher level. I want to pursue a degree in nursing at your college. One of my life goals is to become a nurse after graduating so that I can serve the community, especially those with low income. This is because I am a compassionate person, and I come from a simple background. I would treat them well and make them feel a sense of belonging to society. I also believe that being a nurse is part of social work. Since I have a strong passion for interacting with people in the community, it will be an excellent opportunity for me. I have sometimes encountered challenging life experiences, which is why I consider going to college to better people’s lives and mine. I value my life experiences and place a high weight on them, which is why I like doing social care.
I have a strong commitment to my studies, and I can confidently say that I will earn good grades if I am admitted. I will also make sure that I graduate with the experience and skills that I need to build my future career in nursing. I cannot wait to start this new stage of studies, and I feel such a relief and gratitude for having found this college. I am hopeful that the determination I have built throughout my life will grow more robust to help me handle college work that I find demanding.
