I am applying for the Martinez Fellowship Program as I am delighted to excelling in my teaching career as a teacher of color. I am a skilled bilingual educator in Vietnamese and English languages, currently undertaking a Masters in Teaching at Antioch University Seattle.
My vision is to impart knowledge to a diverse pool of students using my bilingual skills. The Fellowship is a great venture for me to pursue leadership and mentor students. My passion for teaching and zeal to illuminate my bilingual skills has prompted me to apply, and thus the opportunity will fulfill my heartily desires. The program will also enable me to pursue higher career accomplishments through diversifying my teaching portfolio, mainly using my bilingual competence. Personally, the program will help me to gain substantive counsel on student-teacher interactions as a teacher of color and excel in my profession through a financial boost.
I look forward to completing my Masters in the teaching program; hence as a Martinez Fellow, I will enjoy professional coaching and development that will enable me to excel. I hope to become a Vietnamese future educator; the Fellowship will offer a platform to accomplish my academic goal. As a professional Martinez, I will be able to build stronger network accomplices through positive interactions with leaders and exceptional teachers in the program and seminars.
I am instrumental, attentive to detail with exemplary interpersonal skills and communication skills. The Martinez Fellowship will enable me to boost my professional integrity through cultural competency and diplomacy. I will be able to engage with more people from diverse cultural affiliations, thus learn to adjust and co-exist peacefully with all people. The program will also help to boost my language skills, especially that I am a Vietnamese. As an educator, I will acquire expertise in handling students and parents in harmonious yet professional accord. As a Martinez, I will also be in a position to reach out to more students from the skills gained in the program through more profound commitment and dedication to my career interests.
In my previous experience as a teacher, I gained substantive competence in computer literacy, specifically in the use of software such as Skype. As a Vietnamese, I came to appreciate my cultural identity of respect and humility during the supervision of children as a teacher assistant. We are identified concerning family and community values. Thus I was able to courteously treat students and my colleagues as well as prevent child abuse. The Martinez program will aid in my development of a stronger bond with our diligent and customer-oriented nature to exceed the expectations of parents and students.
My success in the career of a bilingual teacher requires mentorship and coaching to understand diversity and self-reliance. Thus, I chose Martinez, Fellowship, to help me accomplish my excellence interests since the program is both world-class and suitable for teachers of color. I am ambitious, creative, and enthusiastic; therefore, I will exceed my goals both academically and professionally to stand out as a leader and mentor for all Vietnamese para-educators. Finally, I am a quick learner with an excellent heart for community work thus will engage in corporate social responsibility to help children and students discover their talents and skills.
