- PLEASE USE THE ASSESMENT TOOLS ABOVE AND APLAY WITH SOME QUESTIONS THAT I DID WHEN I TALKED WITH THE PATIENT. FOLLOW THE TEXT CONVERSATION : THIS CAN BE IN ONE PAGE. MAXIMUN PAGE IS 3300.
He starts to cry, I took his hand and let him cry a little, and said that he is not alone in this battle. Some people love and care about him. That he did not come into the world by chance and that God loves and cares for him.
He stopped crying and said thank you, and kept saying it is interesting that you said that to me, because
yesterday when I tried to end my life, I spoke to God quickly why I came into the world? And today you just that, and it seems that you answered my question that I did to God. I asked him if it was the first time that he had tried to take his own life? He said yes, he had already thought about few times searched in Google ways to end his life without feeling pain, and he took medicine to sleep after he silence began to sleep his uncle found out when hi calling him tree times and not heard from him, so his uncle went to the bedroom and saw the medicines, and he was already sleeping.
When he woke up, he was at the hospital. I asked besides that I would like to ask you because you said your uncle attacked you, Why his uncle behaviors like that? He said because he believes that he suffers emotional and financial problems. I said I'm sorry, I asked him, if he uses drugs he said yes, sometimes not always.
I led him to reflect and that drugs have a momentary emotional effect of relief but future severe problems.
He said I know that, but the only way I can alleviate this internal pain that I can't explain it, is when I use the
drugs, so I asked what kind of drugs do you use? He said: cocaine and marijuana.
Then I remembered when he said that he mentioned God in the moment he tried to kill himself, so I asked, you told me that you spoke to God quickly before taking the medicines, so you believe in God? He said yes, I have a disorder. Tell me a little about your spiritual life, have you ever been to a church? He said a long time ago, with
his uncle in the Church of England. I asked, could you describe your experience when you were in the church?
What you remember, the sounds of music, people around you?
The sermon or topic that was shared?
The feeling at the moment?
What do you feel?
He answers, he felt something very good, enjoyable and peace something that is hard to describe. Then I asked him what is the difference that felling he has in church for the felling that he have when he use drugs?
He said, when he use drugs he felt good but its like something missing like a cold hole in the stomach.
I said to him: the same peaceful felling he had before in the church is that felling and God desire for his life, his life is very precious for God and he have plan in your life. Now its essential for him, to forgive his uncle, forgive his mother and forgive him self because we all make mistake, but Gods love trespass our weakness… Everyone had weakness moments. So I ask if a can pray with him, He said yes,
I pray The Lord’s Prayers and pray for his mother, uncle and family.
