Introduction
In life, every individual has many needs and wants that are greedy to say the least. Everyday comes with new desires, challenges and goals that have to be met at an individual, community, country, region and even the world at large. Some of the common human needs for day to day life includes, electricity, internet, food, shelter, clothing and beauty needs, social, political needs among many more. Imagine if all these daily needs and the functionality of this world as we know it came to a sudden halt. What would happen if people can no longer access basic life needs and commodities like electricity, internet, communication and other want. This paper delves into a mythical imagination narrative where the mythical extraterrestrial beings came to the earth and cut down basic human needs and thrown the world into disarray, disaster and catastrophic darkness.
The Narrative
Aliens are mythical extraterrestrial beings rumored to exist in the universe on another continent. The myth of aliens in extraterrestrial vehicles and moving objects spying and observing the earth have been told for years. There have been multiple mythical accounts of how the aliens in UFOs will attack the earth one day and cause havoc, destruction and widespread fear. The imagination herein is that the aliens have attacked the world in reality and caused a worldwide blackout disconnecting any electrical current and affecting the communication and technology as we know it. They will cause destruction and disruption of day to day needs and desires of human beings like communication and electricity thus throwing the world in a messy confusion. The main characters are, James president of the United States, Sarvor president of Russia, Ji Ping president of China and Howard president of United Kingdom.
Events.
Friday Night. 8:00 PM: A large army of UFOs attack the world electromagnetic currents and disconnect everything that has current in it throwing the world into a sudden unpredicted blackout. Suddenly there is no lightings in the entire world at homes, industries, governmental places and everyone. Apart from that, anything that requires electrical current to flow in order to function goes dead off affecting all transport and moving objects on the entire world. Many accidents happen and destruction of unimaginable magnitude including deaths and confusion.
Saturday Morning. 6:00 AM: As people wake up and darkness clears out in the skies, a big army of aliens in UFOs and other mysterious objects appear in the skies over the entire world. They come close to the earth, just about a kilometer away from the ground and stay there without moving for the entire day. The world super powers attempt all means to decode what is happening but are unable to understand anything since for 24 hours the aliens concentrate their presence in the strong nations including, USA, China, Russia and the UK. In other parts of the world, their presence is little or absent but there has nonetheless been an electrical attack and all activities are at a standstill.
Sunday Morning. The world super powers led by the presidents James of USA, Howard of UK, Sarvor of Russia and Ji Ping of China suddenly decide separately to attack the unmoving extraterrestrial objects of the world. The world military forces in this and other nations attack these objects but nothing seems to work. All explosive projectiles directed to them just bounce back off and don’t explode. In the meantime, people in the entire world cannot move from place to place and neither can they communicate apart from the physical face to face communication. There is total darkness, confusion and destruction in the world coupled up by fear and inability to cater for day to day needs and wants. The people feel helpless and hopeless unable to get to procure any activity but to scavenge for any food and water they can get.
