COVID 19 has had a significant impact on different sectors of the world. It had put politicians, scientists, media houses, citizens, and research institutions into high stress of looking for the way out of this pandemic.
Introduction.
Different personalities, media houses, science, and the internet have given the COVID -19 adscription befitting their understanding. Different people give their knowledge about what the coronavirus is and how it can be stopped, with some getting deep into alcohol abuse with the belief that alcohol increases immune against the virus, not knowing that alcohol is an immunosuppressant (Mayurnikova et al. 200). The politicians have their view of the virus with the belief that a virus is a political tool that is being used politically. Scientists also have their perspective with the media houses reporting their facts and findings. In this work, we are going to look at the following

Political versus science:
Politicians believe that there is nothing like the best science. The disagreement by the scientists on matters has formed a basis for this argument. There is the feeling that there is no specific scientific explanation on the coronavirus that can be followed. This has established the problem between the politicians and the scientists. The politicians are concerned about the distribution of the research funds on the matter (Science, Politics, And the Coronavirus: A Tragedy of Denial). The tenders that are also awarded for the supply of the materials used to manage the coronavirus in even one that the politicians are concerned with. The politicians have got an opportunity to get involved in tendering as far as the coronavirus is concerned. The kind of scientific researchers is based on the money the politicians can release for the same research. Limited resource supply will mean that the investigation will also be limited, and therefore there will be limited findings.
The scientific committees formed to advise on the matter have tried to explain what will help mitigate the spread of the virus (Science, Politics, And the Coronavirus: A Tragedy of Denial). These explanations are the once the politicians use to formulate policies that are to be used in the process of controlling the coronavirus. All the decisions that politicians will make after the research of the scientists will be based on political priorities, interests, and the interest of their people. Before bringing any step to mitigate the virus, politicians will have to ask specific questions on the impact of the measure on the economy and the people. There are also questions that politicians will never ask like a group in the community that the virus may not attack, and if the virus attacks the children. In this way, politicians and scientists are pushed to work together to control the infection.
Trump’s American pandemic.
Donald Trump American president is looked at like a person who is not very keen in the fight against the coronavirus. He has had critics from all over the world on his handling of the coronavirus. The musing of Donald Trump from the white house, particularly his suggestion of injecting disinfectants in patients, shocked the whole world. At the moment, the US looks like a hotspot for the outbreak (Mirvis). Trump has been seen as a person who is not dangerous in handling the coronavirus. The latest critics came from the former US president Barrack Obama (Glenda). Trump’s abrupt decision to cut funding to the World Health Organization is shocking to the world who did not understand why Trump had to cut the funding. Most leaders feel that there is no reason why the funding was stopped because, at the moment, the funds are needed to aid in the fight against the pandemic. Trump’s attitude and response mechanism have shown the world that his response is wanting, and his information on the matter is limited. At this time, the world expects Trump to be in front of the fight against the virus, not just in America but the world over.
Leaders need to be knowledgeable and fully informed on the matters coronavirus in order to give the right information to the masses. The citizens of a nation require the correct information from their leaders; this will mean that the leaders must have the right information regarding the COVID- 19.
Mass media and coronavirus.
The media is at the forefront in revealing the impacts of the coronavirus. A powerful force that informs the masses about what is happening in the world (Mayurnikova et al. 198). The internet, the radio, the televisions, and mobile phones are all used by the masses to get information. The media has been at the forefront, informing the people on the adoption of the right measures and stopping misinformation. The press also reveals information on the public health factors about the virus. The mass media communicate the need for distancing and the right distance. The media also play a significant role in reducing stigma through the dissemination of the correct information. The government also uses the media to pass the information that needs to be given to the people. It is the media that brings news to the doorsteps of every person. The media also can be misused if the information passing through it is not seen.
The media have revealed every information that is out there on the coronavirus to the masses. The doctors and health practitioners are also using the media to teach the coronavirus’s control measures.
Conclusion.
The coronavirus has indeed affected the world. The significant stakeholders need to take full charge of the situation and come up with the coronavirus’s right approaches. The politicians, scientists, media personalities, and leaders worldwide need to come up with a solution to the problem, and citizens are advised to take heed of the measures taken to control the spread of the virus. The health personalities world over are trying to ensure that the infection is fully controlled (Mayurnikova et al. 200). The adverse effects of the disease cannot be underestimated, and the impact of the virus in the world is one that cannot be ignored.
