The clash of dynamics in the contemporary world is based on tribalism propelled by Jihad and globalism postulated by McWorld. Jihad is represented by few religious cults which do not allow interdependence, social cooperation, or civic mutuality while McWorld is based on technology, ecology, commerce communication. The forces, according to Barber, have put the world at the periphery of collapsing apart and joining reluctantly together each time. Jihad is based on retribalization of people by war and bloodshed: culture is spat against culture, tribe against tribe through threatening Lebanonization by national states. McWorld aims at combining countries into one similar network through integration, uniformity computer music, and fast food. The United States is more alienated towards McWorld.

McWorld is focused imperative of globalization, impassive, market, imperative of resources, and imperative of information-technology. These imperatives have gained a milestone in national borders through diminishing and shrinking nationalism, partialism, and factiousness. Market imperative has been allied in areas like free trade transnational markets, access to banking, and currencies, interfering with the sovereignty of nations. BBC and CNN and reinforcing peace and stability. Resource imperative applies to the depletion of the resource by other nations due to breakages of territory barriers. The information-technology imperative is rooted in rationality, common discourse and open commutation while imperative on ecology has led to inequality between developed and developing nations (Barber,1995)

The idea of universalism postulated by McWorld in achieving a society that is rationalized is merely a dream. The forces of the world do not agree on certain ground like imposing a new culture on people with their on religion, culture, ethnicity, tribe.
