The reason why radiation therapy is the field I wish to pursue is that so I can be in a position to help patients through their various ailments, especially cancer patients. If I attain the necessary credentials one requires to be a radiation therapist, I will be in a position to help cancer patients regardless of whether they can afford the expenses. The treatment of a disease such as cancer usually is high, and most people are unable to cater to the costs. Furthermore, my interest and passion for how radio waves work in treatment inside the human body is another motivation to pursue this course.
