what a way to kickoff 2018 and as i talk for a great information and(crosstalk).

Absolutely (inaudible)i think we are looking 2018 we just started a new year,am sure each person like me and you,we have got new year resolutions we are thinking about(inaudible)about ten pound off the scale, and a little bit healthier this year.

i love the phrase, new year new me,and am sure a lot of organisations are approaching that as well according to workplace(crosstalk)2017 survey results reports among employers that are offering and measuring(inaudible)efforts, more than half have a found a decrease in absenteeism,63%are experiencing financial sustainability and growth in the organisations and then 66% reported in increase(crosstalk)and 67%employers are more satisfied overall.

it sounds like at this point why not consider looking at new (inaudible)initiatives or new wealthy programmes(inaudible)this is not something that just benefits the organisations also like you said meets the employee satisfaction(inaudible)the other day, from united healthcare states that 705of employers are interested in taking (crosstalk)steps to improve their health.

Am sure Lee has great examples on what that looks like.

I can’t wait to talk with her more, do you wanna give(inaudible)what she has to say on the on the subject.

It is always great to be back in the H.R (inaudible)especially from the new year brain and am really excited about today’s guest, can you introduce us today?

happy new year. (laughter)first show(crosstalk).

happy new year to everybody else. It’s gonna be a good year.

as with the new year it seems like new year resolutions and trying to take steps to get healthier always seems to be(crosstalk)in everyone’s mind, and I think if that rings (inaudible)for a lot of organizations around the country. I just want to kick our conversation today by asking the question, what are some new (inaudible)that you saw last year 2017 that are getting more (inaudible)as we head further to 2018?

the big one is(crosstalk)for me and a lot of my clients is mental health(laughter)we are really taking care of mental health. It’s something that has been undercover or not brought to the forefront for a long time. If ever and its emerging and is so important. (crosstalk) Meditation and yoga, talking about that, same conversation we are talking about work which would seem crazy just a couple of years ago. But is taking off and there is so much evidence around the predictivity becomes from the stillness of your mind and the quettng of your mind giving stress(crosstalk)I think that one is for sure(inaudible)continue. If (crosstalk) as we learn more aboit the human mind and we can do to(inaudible)and keep it in its most(crosstalk)best.

I think that’s a great(crosstalk)my next question for you lee, we are talking about this new fund(crosstalk)on mental health, how is this perception any emphasis(crosstalk)maybe emotional wellness shifted as millennials become the largest working group in today’s workforce?

It is,it’s funny one of my colleagues was mentioning a study need to get my hands on it where, she was shot we do a lot of (inaudible) education in my design farming so obviously paying attention to what students want and then what happens when they(inaudible)best prepare them for the workforce, and one of the(inaudible)came out with 70% of students come in to college with anxiety issues. They come in stressed iut to begin with, and then they leave even more stressed(crossetalk)because they have been working hard at school snd alot of colleges are really(inaudible)and looking at how to present mental health in a way that is(crosstaklk)stigma and is part of sweet of services that they offer students[inaudible] and ofcourse those students are now[mileanealls] fuly under workforce[crosstalk]and we are seeing this stigma[inaudible]much more so[inaudible]as i was just mentioning but also the fact that they expect to see(crosstalk)addresing of mental health and physical health, emotional health, financial health all this things need to be(ccrosstalk)package that we are offering them.
