Discussion question 1 basic principle of economics

As stated above, the basic principle of economics is to ensure that there is growth all the time. This growth is brought about by doing better in every good situation. Willard Motley expounded on this principle to make it better understood by every individual. According to him, people should focus on living fast, dying young, and having good looking corpses (Motley, 2017).  This technically means that they should work to be financially stable which enables then to have a happy life and even die as happy people. Since most people understand this concept of life, this has turned out to be the humanity motto where people prefer having bad health rather than living a financially unstable life. Since the resources on the planet are limited to take care of the growth that people want, people will have to utilize the resources available and ensure that they still achieve the same amount of growth. As much as the growth will not be the same as the one that would have been achieved in the availability of all the resources available, it will still be better than having no growth. Since all growths are not the same, some will have better consequences than others. For instance, proper utilization of the resources may lead to short term or long-term growth where the long-term growth may have better and long-lasting consequences than the short term growth.

Discussion question 2

I subscribe to the opinion that health care is a commodity and not a right. This, therefore, implies that the supply and demand of health care determine the cost of health care. Generally, no individual has the right to demand health care services since they are mainly provided by a third party. People should acknowledge the fact that health care services are services provided by a third party and the third party can fail to provide the health care services in particular situations. This is the same argument in that as much as every individual has the right to healthy meals, they do not have the right to steal money from other people to access healthy meals. Most countries assume that declaring health care services as rights ensures the provision of the services to the people. However, this is not the case. I addition, health care services are treated as a .https://sharksavewriters.com/three-most-important-care-indicators-consider-patient-satisfiers-and-ndnqi/since they are mainly influenced by the demand and supply of the medical services. This demand and supply influence the cost of medical services. In order to reduce the cost of health care services is to ensure that the supply is more than the demand. In conclusion, health care services should only be treated as a commodity and not a right (Olsen, Kane & Kasteler, 2016).
