What comes into mind when one talks of doctrines? What do most of us try to think of when handling these word doctrines .what is a doctrine or rather doctrines?

I might think of there being a god somewhere, a spiritual existence that people believe in. There is a set of principles that guide a particular group of people. A system of beliefs that people believe in. The doctrine has to do with faith, traditions and even political background of the people.

Doctrine is solid, and at some point, it can lead to differences when people live together having a different faith. You’ll find some speaking of Christianity, Islamic, Hinduism, Buddhism and many more. All these lead to many confusions in our current society. It’s tough to understand, which is the true doctrine.

Its where cultism begins. Let me not go into much of, let’s dwell much on Christianity. The Christian faith has bis divided into different subcategories.These include:

The Roman Catholic Church

The Anglican churches

The Protestant Churches

The African Orthodox

The Adventists

According to (Wayne, 2015n) , the doctrine is related to the word denomination in which he uses the example of currencies in different denominations to explain the existence of a variety of beliefs under the Christian faith. It tells the type of beliefs of which are still accepted by the societies today

Some have become a source of criticism of the Christian faith. It raises attention even from those who don’t believe in the Christian doctrine.
