Dream team of colleagues
Describe your dream team of colleagues
Behind every fruitful project lies a team of devoted people. The following are characteristics of dream colleagues.
Adaptability
My ideal colleague is a person who has excellent adaptability. A team is composed of individuals who have a different set of experiences, thoughts, beliefs, and viewpoints that they bring to the table. The individual has to understand this and learn to accept different ideologies from theirs. Adaptability is a unifying factor as people learn to work with each other.
Enthusiasm
An enthusiastic colleague brings a lot of energy into the team. The enthusiasm of the individual leads to the achievement of goals. A team made of individuals with low vigor is unappealing and challenges the achievement of the business goals.
Focus
A focused workmate is an excellent person to work with. A focused colleague helps the team to stay committed to their long term goals. While the team can have a lot of fun, relish each other’s company, they never lose attention on the crucial purpose of them coming together. For example, A good business does not overlook that its drive is to add value to the public, whichever trade it is in.
Time management
An ideal colleague has to be organized and possess time management skills. A person who tries his/her best to keep time in various projects helps the team by pressuring them to meet the deadline. The individual would keep tabs on his colleague’s progress on the work assigned.
A born leader.
A successful team needs a team leader with leadership qualities such as influencing, engaging, and encouraging people to achieve a common goal. People want to feel valued. They want to feel appreciated. It instills a sense of commitment and engagement. A team leader has to engage his/her team by distributing responsibility. It makes them feel a sense of self-worth. Leaders do not push but lead his/her people.
In conclusion, dream colleagues are those ideal partners to work with. One has to continually learn to improve on themselves, be it personalities, activities, skills in order better fit on a team.
