East Asia
China
East Asia is majorly covered, with China being the third-largest country worldwide. China largely influenced east Asia countries whereby historically, most of the east Asia words and vocabularies were from Chinese scripts. The Chinese calendar had special dates set to celebrate their culture, which was mainly traditional East Asian cultures. This serves as an example to which most of the East Asian calendars copy from.
In 1974 China had one of the greatest archaeological sites in the globe, this was after workers dug a well outside the city of Xian and found a platoon full of thousands of clay soldiers who have buried with China’s first emperor, Qin shi Huang Di, to accompany him to the afterlife(“The First Emperor: China’s Terracotta Army”). They were known as the terra-cotta army. The great wall of China was built across the northern border of China, whereby its main purpose was to protect the Chinese states and empires against various nomadic groups of the steppe. It is approximately 21,196.18 million meters in length and 21,196 kilometers in size.
Japan
It is an island country in East Asia. It is well known for its influence in the automotive industry; Japenese manufacturers produce cheap, reliable, and popular cars which they distribute worldwide(Stewart). In 2000 they became the largest car-producing nation in the world. It is also known for its diversity in culture and its enormous history. This includes tea ceremonies, the arrangement of flowers, and calligraphy. It has quite a remarkable geographic history, and the terrain is mostly rugged and mountainous. Having to mount Fuji as the highest point in Japan which stands at 3,776 meters(12,388 ft)
Korea
It comprises of two nations, South Korea and North Korea. The Korean pop culture became famous worldwide due to support offered by the Korean government, whereby it supported its creative industries through funds. It was closely becoming one of the worlds leading exporter in culture. Koreas terrain is very mountainous and very hilly, whereby Taebaek mountains cover the land on the east side of the country.
Southeast Asia
It comprises of countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Islam is the official religion in most of these countries, whereby 60% are Islamic, while the rest of the percentage are Hindus, Christians, etc. It is considered the most diverse region in the world, which is the easiest accessible tropical region in the world. It has the archipelago, which is one of the most active volcanic regions worldwide. Due to the tectonic uplifts, it has resulted in producing huge mountains such as Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia which is 4,095.2 meters and the Puncak Jaya in Indonesia which is 4,884 meters
Australia
This is the only country in the world that covers an entire continent, and it is the sixth-largest country in the world. It is also rich in natural resources such as; iron ore, uranium, gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and others. It is a mostly low plateau with deserts in it, has ranges, and fertile land in the southeast part of the country. The northern part of the country has volcanic plateaus
New Zealand and pacific island
They are islands in the south pacific ocean. They know of sharing a common cultural heritage as Australia. It consists of many physical features such as gigantic glaciers to boiling hot springs, a hilly and mountainous land surfaces in some areas, an extensive plain of marine origin, and sea coast.
