Introduction

Business network is the concrete pattern of correlating among business partners in the society. Business networking is the backbone of any successful one in business and social world. Success in business project and goals require an individual to have access to different job opportunity professionals to get advice and acquire new skills. Popular and successful investors in the world need networking to establish a business plan and the business itself. Strong entrepreneur in the world such as Donald trump, Joe bidden, Bill gates and Paul Allen. All of their success is undertaken by their venture of creating job networks. Networking provides motivation those capable of exploiting the unseen opportunities. Networking is accompanied with activities that require social interaction for one to earn the information. Economy, politics and society project success determined by a good networking.

Business success is stimulated on how individual has a network. Network building may influence the process of decision making in any growing firm. Politics depend majorly on how good the network you have. As an economics student having my own economic consultant firm is my dreams. For this far I had to look on ways in which I could achieve my goals as I learnt from others. I was motivated by the CEO of Blackhawks fire, Mr John Mcdonough who owns one of the production firms in Chicago. The only way that I could be linked with such a mentor is through his employees. My father works in Mr. John’s firm in Chicago. Through my father I met with the mentor of my career. I made  choice to pursue my career as an economic consultant to private firms as well as public corporation. Quality and quantity of different goods and services was what motivated me.

All networking process in the business is carried in chronological process. Those stages provide understanding in a networking process. Through primary networking I realize and talked to my father about the idea. The secondary networking is when my father talked on my behalf to meet the CEO, Mr. John. The development part is the process of meeting Mr. John for conversation. In this stage I learnt different method that I could use to collect data. I prefer using the interview approach since it is professional. Also, application of the questionnaire method, enhance my interview with Mr. John. The other stage of my interaction with my mentor was anticipatory stage. It expresses what is my admiration on what Mr. John do in the society. The re-socialization stage is what I intend to have in future so as to learned what I have achieved from the socialization process.

 Networking theories used in life today

According to Cooley’s theory an individual or business approaches the networking as social and being controlled by mind. Through the role model principal different students have admire to an important, productive individual to the society. Determined student or individual select certain physical characteristics of her/his role model and works on achieving it.

Mead describes that networking and business connection is perceived per what an individual wants from the society. Social are the key on networking. An individual create connection to another individual because of the behavior of that person. The world today is built on the qualities of individual behavior. Thus, for a good connection behavior is the key. For instance, bill gates donation to Africa express how connected he is.

Jean piglet theory explains how children could develop their knowledge easily. Being student I was still young and able to learn new way. Jean theory is significant to the world today the fresh knowledge from the young generation lead innovation which a basic pillar in business networking. Through these theories I had to have my first interview with Mr. John as follows.

 

Interview with Mr. John

Me:  What are your daily activities?

Mr. John: ensuring that the company runs on her daily routine. This entails clearing of                                               accounts of the firm.

Me:  What educational qualification do you have?

Mr. John:  I am a grandaunt in business management.

Me:  What were the most important things you learned in life or school that have assisted you in your field?

Mr. John:  college live mostly build most of what I am and what I do. Through exposure in life as I was brought up in humble background, play the key objective of deciding my life destination. Through respect, hardworking, determine, and believing in oneself I achieve my dreams.

Me:  Is your job enjoyable?

Mr. John:  people always work on their desire. To clarify on that if I ask you a question that “do you like the course you are studying in school?” the obvious answer will be yes. To me yes I enjoy transforming different lives of people.

Me:  Would you recommend this career to someone? Why or Why not?

Mr. John:  No, each and every career is important in our daily life.

Me:  What advice would you offer students in different colleges in world that are thinking about this as a career?

Mr. John: An individual or student should focus in what his/her heart desire. Being who you are will ensure success in all that you pursue.

Through different theories I learnt in school, I try to inquire about how networking can enable some to start a business that operating successful. Through different theoretical approach I learned that for a successful business there are factors that need to be considering for profit to be attain. These factors are planning, capital, and deciding the location of you entrepreneurial skills. Through these factors I asked Mr. John question concerning the theoretical part of networking process and business management.

Me:  for any firm is business plan required? Why?

Mr. John:  yes, like any other successful thing you want to do in life, there must be a plan.

Me: in your product promotions, has the Internet changed the way you promote products?

Mr. John: internet has improved the total promotion services in our company. The positive impact of internet has been brought by current technologies.

The experience I have attained after meeting my mentor has changed me in a lot of perspective.  The new knowledge has impacted me with tools that an individual together with networking to acquire the desire of his/her heart. Through the course I have learnt that hardworking, being patient, deterministic mind and passion is what a successful person need. It defines my current approach to my career as see it as a great opportunity.

Creating connection involves benefits of good relationship among participant. I learnt that networking facilitate confidence. For example the CEO had confidence that enable him to start his firm despite of many other firms that work on the same process. Also through networking I realize that opportunity are everywhere in the whole world, the problem is how to identify and work on it. If an individual is motivated and have confidence, then he can open new opportunities. Through different advice, for example the advice from Mr. John I get expertise approach on innovation and opening new avenues to the society. Raising my profile was also the key importance with networking. Being visible is by keeping all the history of the challenges you face while working towards the career of your choice. This can achieved by building your reputation in order for you to be reliable and have gaining knowledge that will assist in achieving you career objectives. Finding more connections that may help in fulfilling your career desire may be useful. Connections define who you know and what you know.

What I found that is so surprising is there must be satisfaction from helping the other people of the society. Through networking an individual learn how he/she could increase networking through others. Also in the society no one would live an independent life and expect to succeed forever. Success encourages helping others and building friendship.

Conclusion

Successful leaders in the world ruled by the affection of connections, even super power nations such the United States of America majorly depend on networking so as to remain being the superpower. Business requires connection as the consumer and the supplier have to be in a good relationship with the consumer. Through investment both locally and foreign, networking plays a key role in process of investment
