In such a case, no confusion would arise when communicating with each other.  Of course, differentiation must be the key aspect.

As Apple company has proved it, the management has adopted the very unique software, including its operating system their devices. Hence, such a decision guarantees that the company products are not confused with others. Similarly, aligning firms’ staff more uniquely gives them the desire to operate in their domain. In fact, they might even feel secure to communicate with each other, with the understanding that their uniqueness is maintained.
