Dear Ms. /Mrs. Wang,
Trust that you are well. It was a great pleasure to meet you at the Food Franchise Expo yesterday. I would like to express my interest and aspirations to enter the franchise business. I currently work in a pizza shop which is part of a chain with twenty-four outlets in malls in my state and other surrounding states. My history in the workplace has accorded me strong work experience and skills qualifying me for the opportunity. I have worked in the pizza industry in business with for the past ten years in various capacities. I have worked as a pizza deliverer, and due to my work ethics, I got the opportunity to act as a cashier. Later on, I was promoted to the shop manager, a position I have held for the past seven years.
During my time as a pizza shop manager, I received recognition for my leadership skills from both the shop manager and employees. Under my leadership, the shop’s sales were the highest of all the shops in the chain. The increased was experienced in every quarter (apart from two quarters) for the five years I’ve been manager. The drastic increase is attributed to my approach to maintaining loyal customers. I believe the key to the success of my shop is ensuring the customers are happy. I plan to continue the strategy as a franchisee.
In terms of marketing strategies, I have applied various techniques to attract customers. One such approach is the use of social media where I have created a Facebook group which has 2300 members and a Twitter feed with 1130 followers. I send daily specials to all the 3430 people in the two groups. Additionally, I ensure that customers with specific food preferences are sent coupons via mail and email. During seasonal periods, I partake in great special catering events. These catering events have led to the shop winning “best pizza shop” numerous times. These achievements have brought great publicity to the shop. Such advertising has led to the shop being featured in TV commercials for pizza shops across our region.
Investing during this time is perfect due to the lack of numerous pizza palaces in the region. I am also capable of meeting financial obligations necessary in opening the franchise. Furthermore, I possess excellent work ethic and have vast experience with customers.
