Topic: Gift acceptance– this isn’t my gift; it is our gift.
Introduction – Thank you for your time choosing to attend and purposing to be part of this gift ceremony. Thank you for your recognition also.
- A motivational speaker once said, “If you notice good changes and appreciable work or workers, stop a moment, cease your endeavors and look around you.”
- When I look around me, I see the potential winners of this gift.
Thesis Statement – I accept this gift, but it is as a result of our hardwork together and cooperation from every member and in all situations that we all have earned it.
- First Main Point – All of us and not me.
- Every part turns, or the entire system does not function- togetherness is an essential factor.
- Every unit, every one of you are co-winners- each and every employee is a winner.
- Without any one of you this would never have happened- cooperation from every member contributed to this great award winning.
- Second Main Point – Personal Sacrifices
- This company has worked tirelessly to achieve its mission and vision. The company’s mission and vision entails helping individuals out there to achieve their dreams. The company has provided job opportunities for many workers who are able to work with a lot of dedication in achieving their dreams and the success of the company. We, as a company, have worked with a lot of determination in witnessing the success of the company.
- The company has received praises from other institutions and organizations which has boosted the efforts of the company. The company has had endless calls which has boosted constant work the company has done.
- Without cooperation and togetherness of workers, the company would not witness the success and the various awards being given out today.
III. Third Main Point – Thank you
- The award is useful as it will encourage other workers to work tirelessly and effortless.
- It is a day worth celebration because of the awards.
- The celebration and thanks goes to the company for such an awesome award.
Conclusion –
- I stand here on this platform, to receive an award with my name written on it. However, were it not for our cooperation and togetherness, I could not be receiving this award. Therefore, this award is for us all. We are a team, and this is not my award but our award.
- This is not me; it is about we. The efforts we put together, overtime hours we worked together, the various visits we made to successful companies to study their success, the goals we set, the achievements we made, and cooperation we put together- that is the really our award we worked for; we really deserve to be the winner of this award.
- Thank you all for such an amazing opportunity you have given me. I do not want to emphasize on how happy I am for such an award we worker for. I do not want to reflect on how we began our journey as a company up to this point. This is such a time when I would think of sharing with you a joke to hide my emotion a bit; but I won’t do that at this moment. All I want to say is to do is to encourage you that everyone one of you can make to be an employer of the month and let you know that I appreciate you all.
