Environmental influences in an organization

In an organization, there are numerous environmental influences which can be categorized into internal or external environmental factor. Internal environmental factors are different events that are said to occur within an organization. On the other side, external factors are those that occur outside the organization, and in most cases, they are hard to control and predict. Below are three environmental factors that affect the organization;

Political factor

In a political factor, the environment is always less friendly; thus, there is very little a business could do in such a situation. At the time, the company can lobby for the law to be changed to better, but it’s always the government decision to make. The organization has no control over the political environment, and the government can do business to either suffer or prosper. When a government want to make, the company has difficulties in operating all sorts of license are required. An organization cannot pass laws on the guidance of hiring and firing employees if the requirements are not accomplished. Additional levy heavy taxes and voluminous paperwork is also a requirement; thus, the origination suffers, and there is very little it can do to change the situation. The only ways to improve the situation is persuading the government to make the changes because they are the only entity that can make changes to the laws. This kind of challenge can be controlled by different business uniting like creating a chamber of commerce which will be able to speak on behalf of the organization. When this is done, it will help in reducing the government policies that can cause harm to the organization.

Competition factor

Competition is a factor that affects every business, including its function and flow. Pricing of products in an organization is one of the essential processes, and determining the right price is the primary key to success in business. If businesses want to get more revenue, the best step to take is increasing the price of their products and services. However, if the completion becomes more, the pricing strategy needs to change to attract more consumer. In most cases, the prosing strategy affects supply and demand and when it is increased the value decreases. Furthermore, where there is competition, and the price is reduced, there is most likely there will be either negative or positive effects on the organization. The competition allows a business to lower prices to improve economy and customer satisfaction.

Social factor

In an organization, most employees are influenced by the environment they are working, which will determine the productivity of the business. Moreover, the social factor determines where her business will succeed or fail. The social environment can affect customers, teamwork and job satisfaction. Teamwork is essential in the organization because most employees will achieve a lot when they work as a team. When employees work in a positive environment, they can cooperate and work well as a team. However, if their surrounding environment is negative employees will disagree in the most discussion. Additionally, job satisfaction can be affected by the social environment, and in a positive environment, customers will be satisfied, and they will stay. If the environment shows a negative impact, they will stop their relation and stop getting involved with the organization.
