This plan highlights some of the measures adopted to curb racial discrimination within universities in the UK. Equality involves the state of offering equal opportunities and rights to the members involved. Diversity is the state of having a variety and several options to choose from. At the same time, inclusion involves providing equal measures of the rights and options available to the people involved. Several schools in the UK are unable to provide equality, diversity, and inclusion to their students. This has become a big challenge and has pushed for measures to be put in place to correct the current state. Racial discrimination among students, either in colleges or universities, has been a significant social problem affecting most schools. Students of color are discriminated against by their fellow students. This leaves them demoralized and devastated hence affecting their academic performance in school. Similar cases have been reported among members of staff and the students. Some of the members of staff discriminate against their colleagues and students too. Therefore, universities facing this challenge have taken severe measures to curb this problem.

To achieve equality, the University of Manchester might consider balancing the population of students. The university has tried to balance the community by admitting students of different races. The institution can also offer equal opportunities to all races by imposing strict punishment measures on individuals found promoting racial discrimination. Classes can also contain a variety of races and ensure all students are considered equal. This ensures all students get similar measures in terms of academic dissemination from lecturers. Furthermore, students of all races can get equal measures at the school mess (Bhopal & Pitkin 2020). This can be achieved by providing comparable services to both the staff and the students. By doing so, it achieves equality, and both students and members of staff can interact freely. This plan will cover almost three paragraphs. Therefore, adopting this ensures all students and staff get equal opportunities and can air their grievances comfortably.

To achieve diversity, the university can offer a variety of opportunities to both students and staff. Diversity can be achieved both in terms of academics and co-curricular activities, including sports. Activities such as music and sports aim to harmonize all the students together and promote a sense of togetherness. The university can put measures in place to ensure coaches can balance the members in their respective teams. To achieve inclusion, the university can confirm all these opportunities are accessible to all students. This plan will cover two paragraphs. Therefore, the university can formulate laws that ensure the balance of all team members or any other co-curricular activity.

Several recommendations can be adopted by universities to achieve equality, diversity, and inclusion. Universities should consider putting in place equality policies that prohibit any form of inequality within the institution. To achieve diversity, I would recommend the universities recruit both staff members and students over a wide geographical area. This will ensure individuals of different cultures are admitted within the institution. Finally, to achieve inclusion, I would recommend the universities make fair use of existing knowledge and skills and promoting respect among the students and staff members.
