Eterneva

Eterneva is a grief and memorial company based in Austin, Texas. The company is famous for allowing people to grief their loved ones and pets uniquely, and they do this by turning their ashes to diamonds. The grief and memorial center is currently undertaking university-based research on how they can academically support the grief wellness program. The company will work alongside Baylor University, and the research program will entail plenty of details such as grief theory, data collation and interpretation, and customer surveys. Adelle Archer, the co-founder and CEO of Eterneva gave a briefing stating that she was happy with how Baylor University used its state-of-the-art technology to focus on grief.

Adelle Archer also added that she was proud that her company was working alongside a university sharing the same goals as the grief and wellness company. She said that her customers found solace when grieving their loved ones through their diamonds. Dr. Candi Cann, a tutor at Baylor University, and an author of several books about grief and wellness, will lead the university-based research program and cover two qualitative papers. The first paper will examine how material objects and rituals assist in the grieving process and how these materials help in continuing the bond. The other research paper will involve interviewing and carrying out a survey on how the grief and wellness memorial center help their customers through the grieving process by creating diamonds from the ashes of their loved ones.

Dr. Candi Cann is carrying out a research study whose focus is on death and dying. In her research, she looks at how remembering and forgetting the departed helps to shape how we recall, remember, and celebrate our loved ones. Stacy Smith, who is the Director of Research Development at Baylor’s University, says that the research study will help to honor the legacy of Eterneva of bringing light and life in the grieving process.
