ETHICAL ISSUES
A business has to face many ethical issues that should be taken into consideration by the administrations, and it raises the ethical responsibilities for the higher authorities to take care of those issues in the appropriate manner. A business place might have to face many issues like, there can be discrimination and harassment, which can cause catastrophic results for the association both reputational and financially. There should be proper health and safety measures implementation end at the workplace, which include the general and electrical requirements, machine guarding, witting methods, leaders, respiratory protection, Fat protection, etc. Also, the whistleblowers should be taken into consideration, which leaks out the crucial information about the association or they write wrong about the industry they work in. Social media policies should be implemented to avoid ambiguity risk. There can be some issues with the accounting practices like the administration might want to hide the revenue, the employees might not be doing their job correctly and making the proper receipts of the revenue and taxable income. There is always a chance of information theft, and it can be sold to the rivalry association, which would cause much trouble. The employees are most likely to cause damage to the private property of the association either it is due to some personal issue or any other reason, but the employees should not be allowed to damage the private property of the association. (William, 2018)
Avoiding the ethical issues is considered to be always the topmost priority for the associations so that the business can run in an appropriate manner and with the maximum transparency. The ethical issues should be taken into consideration in every association. It is necessary to enforce the robust code of ethics and make employees follow the rules and the communication should be made efficiently so that they would be able to remember the things. The discrimination should not be there and the employees should be treated fairly. They should be given fair pay regardless of their age, gender, sex and the nationally so that they would not be able to develop a sense of inferiority. The financial reports, transparency, and accountants should have collaborated, and it should be made sure that the ethical and the right thing should be done. The employees should be given health and safety precautions. Also, some measures need to be taken to take out the whistleblowers so that they would not be able to leak out the crucial information about the association, which might cause the issue to association otherwise.
Laissez-faire leadership theory is the best theory that can be implemented in the business administration. I would also like to follow this theory if I would have to run a business. It is also known as delegate leadership in which the leaders allow the subordinates and group members to think out of the box and tell the leaders about their opinion. The subordinates are allowed to make the contribution and tell the leader what do they think about the situation and what might be the best course of action to take to get rid of the problem or if there is any strategy making. Everyone’s opinion is given the importance that the outcomes formed are the most effective ones. That’s why this approach is considered to be the best as the employees are not able to develop a sense of inferiority as they are given the importance. Everyone feels to be a part of the association. It also makes the collaboration better, leading towards better productivity and time savings—many businesses that are using this approach. (Cherry, 2019)
The ethical issues are always there in a business, which causes many issues for the people, and that’s why they should be adequately addressed. The ethical issues always have solutions, and the administration needs to take care of it. This is the only way to do the association work in a better way. The right approach is to adopt a leadership theory that can take care of all the issues which arise in an association. When the leaders here to their subordinates, they are most likely to get better results and outputs a result of the conversation.
