Utilitarianism theory explains how a certain action that is right will lead to happiness and how a wrong action is likely to bring the opposite of happiness.as a dedicated citizen of my state am supposed to participate in voting for either of the two candidates. I am supposed to vote for the candidate who will bring less harm to our country. Among the two candidates, one is more corrupt and poor in decision making than the other candidate. I will prefer to vote for the candidate who is less corrupt and better in decision making
Kantian or deontological ethics theory holds that actions are intrinsically right or wrong. It means that the outcome of the action in this theory is not considered.to act morally right to may state I should vote for the presidential candidate. Intrinsically I am sure that I have done the wrong thing to vote for a candidate who is not worthy to lead a state in the right direction. Therefore the culture in our state of having a president has forced me to make a decision that I felt was wrong.
Aristotelian virtue ethics focuses on the role of character on individuals and how it impacts his life. Comparing the two candidates, the less corrupt and with better decision-making skills will be more preferred than the other candidate whose actions are extremely bad. Here will be guided by the characters to choose the best candidates between the two.
I believe I should participate in the presidential voting and elect the candidate whose history record is better. I have decided to vote because I love my state and I have to obey the law. The second I wanted to choose the best candidate and voter for him purposely for the sake of my fellow citizen.
