Evaluating Source Activity
- Lean Distribution Assessment Using an Integrated Model of Value Stream Mapping and Simulation
- Simulation Examination Of Logistics Systems In The Automotive Industry
- The credibility of the publishers
The first journal got published by the Technological university of Dublin. The journal is part of the conference papers from the school of marketing. The administrators of ARROW@TU have allowed the journal to be accessed by the school of marketing for free. The journal has received sponsorship from the distribution companies.
The second journal is published and sponsored by the University of Miskolc. The university approved the research through the department of logistics and sponsored it in the collection and analysis of data.
- The credibility of the Author
In the first journal, Amr Mahfouz is a professor at the College of the Business American University of the Middle East in Kuwait. Amr Arisha is also a professor in 3S Group, college of Business Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland. Both have participated in other journals such as in Simulation modeling practice and theory journal, and supply chain management journal.
Authors of the second journal are professors at the University of Miskolc, Faculty of mechanical engineering, and informatics of logistics. They have written other journals, such as the simulation of a flexible manufacturing system.
- Synopsis
The first journal assesses the strategies adopted to ensure lean distribution in the supply chain. Distribution is considered the central component in maintaining efficiency and reliability in the business. Value chain mapping found the main factor in distribution implementation.
The second journal assesses the simulation methods used in automobile enterprises to increase the efficiency in the automotive logistics system. The paper presents the purposes of conducting a simulation examination.
- Credibility of information
The authors of both journals present the limitations of their study and recommend further studies in areas they have not adequately analyzed.
- Credibility of Data
The journals rely on recent data to present their arguments. In the first journal, Mahfouz and Arisha have used 2002 and 2010 as the oldest and newest data, respectively.
Tamas and Illes used 2003 2015 to have the oldest and the nest data in their research, respectively.
